2 Factor Authentication - Strengthen your Security

Two Factor Authentication, also known as 2FA, is a great security measure to take when using any type of software.

Here's why this matters for you:

  1. Enhanced Security: With 2FA enabled, your accounts are significantly more secure. Even if someone manages to obtain your password, they won't be able to access your account without the second authentication factor.

  2. Protection from Unauthorized Access: 2FA ensures that only you can access your account, even if your password is compromised.

  3. Peace of Mind: Rest assured knowing that your personal and sensitive information is safeguarded by an additional layer of defense.

What does this mean?

Once 2FA is turned on, you will log in as you always do using your email and password.

After entering your email address and password, click Log In.

A verification screen will appear. You will receive a 6-digit verification code. Enter the code to complete the login process.

If a textable number is listed, it means your verified phone number under My Settings > Phones is a mobile number that can receive text messages.

If you do not have a textable number listed, your verified number is a landline. In this case, you can either:

  • Leave the landline as your verified number and receive your two-factor authentication (2FA) code by email.
  • Update your verified number to a mobile number if you would prefer to receive your 2FA code by text.

Note: Your verified phone number is also used for features such as telephony and receiving callbacks. You are not required to change it to a textable number if you prefer to receive your verification codes by email.

How do I turn off Two-Factor Authentication? (Not Recommended)

For your account's security, we strongly recommend keeping two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled. If you choose to disable it, be sure to use a strong, unique password.

Only Account Owners can enable or disable 2FA.

To turn 2FA on or off:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click the 2FA tab.
  3. Check the Enable 2FA box to turn it on, or uncheck it to turn it off.
  4. Click Save Settings.

Please note: Enabling 2FA requires all users on the account to enter a verification code each time they log in.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions!
