How to Call Customers in AutoRaptor (Click-to-Dial)

The Click-to-Dial function in AutoRaptor streamlines your calling process, allowing you to connect with leads and clients efficiently.

Step-by-Step Guide To Navigate Click-to-Dial in AutoRaptor:

1. Verify Your Number

Before using the Click-to-Dial function, ensure your phone number is verified in AutoRaptor.This step is crucial for the system to recognize and connect calls through your number.

2. Initiate the Click-to-Dial Function

  • Locate the Customer's Phone Number: In AutoRaptor, click on a phone number in the upper right side of a customer's Up Sheet.

  • A large box will pop-up containing the phone number in very large print. That phone number can be dialed using any of the phone numbers that have been set up in AutoRaptor.

Please note: The customer will be able to see the number you choose to call from, whether it’s the dealership’s number or your personal cell phone. If you prefer not to share your personal number with the customer, please select a different verified line.

3. Answer the Incoming Call

  • Once you click 'Dial this contact now', AutoRaptor will connect to your verified number. Your phone will ring shortly after.

4. Confirm the Call

  • Pick Up the Call: Answer the call from AutoRaptor. It will be calling from a (401) number.

  • Dial Any Digit: To confirm the connection, dial any digit on your phone. This step verifies that you are ready to proceed with the call.

5. Connect to the Contact

After confirming the call by dialing a digit, AutoRaptor will automatically connect you to the contact you selected. You can now have your conversation as usual.

6. Leave Notes About the Call

Once the call is completed, AutoRaptor will prompt you with a note pop-up.

  • Enter Call Details: In the note pop-up, provide details about the call. Include important information such as talking points, next steps with the team, and set up any follow-up tasks if needed.

  • Save the Note: Save the note to ensure all call details are documented within AutoRaptor. This information will show up in the Activity page of the customer's Up Sheet.

Tips for Effective Use:

  • Prepare Before the Call: Have any necessary information ready before initiating the Click-to-Dial function.

  • Be Prompt: Answer the call from AutoRaptor quickly and dial a digit immediately to avoid any delay in connecting to the contact.

  • Detailed Notes: Always leave detailed notes about the call to maintain clear communication and follow-up.
