Why are some of my leads being assigned to a user that is not in the round robin?
When a lead comes into AutoRaptor it automatically get's assigned to the team based on the lead assignment settings. This would happen if the following is true:
- The dealership is using 24/7 continual distribution lead rules.
- The dealership is using Round Robin assignment.
Both of these options would only assign leads to users that have been added into the Round Robin options in the admin panel in AutoRaptor.
In some cases, the leads that are coming in directly from your lead providers will automatically be assigned to a user (That may not even be in the round robin). This can happen because that specific user's name is listed in the lead that is sent from your lead providers.
If you are noticing that leads from some of your lead sources are going to a specific user, there are 2 ways to resolve this.
- You can reach out to that specific lead provider and request that they remove that users name from the leads.
- You can rename the user within AutoRaptor so that their name no longer matches the name in the lead.
The second option is by far the quickest solution. Below is an example of how you can change the name.
Current name: AutoRaptor Example
Changed name: AutoRaptor E Example
This small change will solve the issue you are facing and put those specific leads back into the correct lead assignment ruling.
